Acting as the rotating president of the Libya Contact Group, Turkey hosted an extraordinary meeting of the group in Istanbul yesterday in order to discuss financial aid for the restoration and talk about the NATO-led military operations in Libya, as the rebels still battle the remaining Gaddafi regime back home in Tripoli.
Southern Sudanese Community Celebrates New State
This was once the Sudanese people’s liberation movement in Kampala, Uganda. Today it has been turned into the embassy of South Sudan.
